1 1/2 cup pecans (about 6oz.)
1 cup unbleached whole almonds (about 6 oz.)
1 cup walnut halves (about 4 oz.)
1 cup filberts (about 6 oz.)
1 egg white
1 1/2 tbsp. water
2/3 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. ground ginger
1 tsp. ground coriander
1 tsp. ground allspice

Directions:

1) Preheat oven to 275º Fahrenheit
2) Combine nuts in a large bowl.
3) In a separate small bowl, beat egg whites with water until foamy.
4) Mix the sugar with the spices and sift it into the egg white mixture. Stir well.
5) Pour this mixture over the nuts and stir until all the nuts are coated.
6) Arrange nuts on a buttered baking sheet in a single layer.
7) Bake the nuts for about 55 minutes. Make sure that you turn the nuts once during their baking time.
8) Cool nuts completely before storing them in a tightly covered container.
