1/2 c white sugar
1/2 c brown sugar
1 c crisco
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tartar
1 tsp soda
2 c flour
1 c coconut
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugars and crisco. Blend egg and vanilla. Sift together salt, cream of tartar, soda, flour and coconut. After blending all the above, shape into balls the size of a marble and roll in granulated sugar. Place on ungreased cookie sheet in ball shape. Bake at 350º for 8 to 10 minutes. This dough should be chilled before shaping into balls.
