1 c shortening
2 c brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c cold coffee
1 tsp baking soda
3 1/2 c flour
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp nutmeg
1/2 c each of raisins and nuts
Directions:
Directions:
Combine the shortening and sugar, then add the beaten eggs. Mix the coffee and soda together and add to batter. Add the remaining ingredients. Drop by teaspoon on a cookie sheet and bake in a 400º oven until done.
