1 C. Butter
2 C. Sugar
1 3/4 Lt. Corn Syrup
2 C. Cream
1 tsp. Vanilla
optional: nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter, stir in sugar and corn syrup. Bring to boil. Add 1 C. cream. Bring to boil. Add 1 C. cream. cook to firm ball stage when tested in cold water. (I always make sure it's plenty chewy because it seems to thin just a bit when you add the vanilla.) Remove from heat and add vanilla. Pour into buttered 9x13 pan. If you like nuts in it - YUM!!!! - sprinkle those in the pan before you pour in your carmel.
