1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp baking soda
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 c cocoa (bitter chocolate kind)
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c margarine
1 c brown sugar, packed firmly
1 egg
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped nuts

FROSTING:
1/2 c margarine
1 1/2 c powdered sugar
3 Tbsp cocoa
few grains salt
1 tsp lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter and brown sugar together, mixing well. Add egg, beat thoroughly.

Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cocoa.

Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream to butter and sugar mixture. Add vanilla and chopped nuts.

Drop from tsp onto cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes at 375º

FROSTING: Combine margarine and blend in powdered sugar, cocoa and salt. Add a little hot water to make a good spreading consistency. Blend in lemon juice.
