1/4 c. butter
3 lbs Moose round steak, intact
1/2 tsp.. onion powder
1/2 tsp.. salt
1/2 tsp.. pepper
2 onions, chopped
2 garlic, minced
1 c. chopped turnip
2 c. chopped cabbage
2 c. chopped carrots
4 c. chopped potatoes
1/4 c. flour
4-6 c. hot water

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º F. Season Moose Steaks with seasonings.

In large stew pot heat butter to sizzling. Add Moose Steaks. Brown on both sides. Add onions & garlic. Let cook 3 mins. Add remaining vegetables. Add flour & stir to coat. Let cook for 2 min. Add 1 cup of water quickly stirring constantly to create a thick base.

Stir in remaining water. Cover. Place in oven. Bake 2 hrs. Check every 1/2 hr. & add more water if needed.

Serve.
