2 unbaked 9-inch deep dish pie shells
1 1/2 C. granulated sugar
1 tsp. sugar
2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2-1 tsp. ground ginger
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
4 eggs
1- 29-ounce can (3 1/2 C.) Libby's pure pumpkin
3 C. (two 12 ounce cans) Carnation Evaporated Milk

COMBINE sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cloves and nutmeg in medium bowl. Beat eggs lightly in large bowl. Stir in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually stir in evaporated milk. Pour into pie shells.
BAKE in preheated 425º oven for 15 min. Reduce temperature to 350º. Bake for 40-50 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve or chill. (Do not freeze as this will cause the crust to separate from the filling)

This recipe is taken directly off of a can of Libby's pumpkin and the only change is the adjustment in the amount of ginger and the addition of the nutmeg.
