12 red cobs
3 pints of water or more + 1 cup
1 box Sure-Jel or MCP Pectin
3 c sugar
red food coloring
Parafin

Directions:
Directions:
Break 12 red cobs in 1/3 – ½ inch
3 pts of water or more + 1 cup
Boil 30 minutes.

Strain through a rag. You need 3 cups liquid – add more water if needed.

Add 1 box Sure-Jel or MCP Pectin, bring to rolling boil and add 3 cups sugar – boil 5 min or until jelled, sometimes less.

Add 2 – 3 drops red food coloring.
Put in jars and add parafin.
