Okay, this isn't a real recipe! Follow the directions in the cookbook that came with your steamer/rice cooker. It is an excellent purchase (or something to ask for your birthday) if you enjoy healthy steamed veggies, fish, and rice. Get one that is good quality - avoid cooking in anything that is made of plastic or a cheaper kind of non-stick container. Steaming keeps in the nutrients while boiling drains the out. Rice is harder to cook on the stove but is very easy with a steamer.
You can also steam veggies in a steamer basket over boiling water in a pot on the stove.
