1/2 C. butter, softened
2 C. packed dark brown sugar
2 eggs
2 C. unbleached flour
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 C. buttermilk
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. In a large bowl, cream sugar and milk. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition. Combine dry ingredients in another bowl; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk. Pour into 9x13 greased pan. Bake approximately 30 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely. Frost
