25 tomatoes
12 hot banana peppers
6 onions
4 cups white vinegar
3 tbsp of salt
2 tsp of cinnamon
4 cups of sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Blanch tomatoes in hot water to remove skin and core each tomato
Place them in a kettle and boil for 2-3 hours
add remaining ingredients
Cook for 12 hours on low heat stirring constantly, until mixture looks like oatmeal and is brown in color
Put mixture in jars with lids and make sure each jar has popped

Lori's Tip- make sure to scrape the sides of the kettle because the cinnamon tends to stick

Grandpa and his partner went to visit another officer while his wife was making dinner. They asked for grandpa and his partner to stay and they kept trying to refuse, after giving in grandpa just adored this chili sauce she made and asked for the recipe. Within a week he was making his own batch. Gale said that the entire neighborhood could smell the chili sauce as it was cooking.
