50 oz. unsweetened apple sauce
3 lbs Granny Smith apples, peeled and sliced into thin pieces
4 c sugar
1/2 stick butter
1 1/2 c apple juice
2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp clove powder
1 tsp allspice

Directions:
Directions:
Place all of the ingredients into a crock pot and stir well. Cover and cook overnight on low heat (8-10 hours). Taste and adjust seasonings to your taste.
Continue cooking uncovered for several more hours or until some of the moisture has been reduced.

Can in canning jars as you would jellies/jams.
