3 c Flour, sifted
2/3 c Sugar
1tbsp Baking Powder
1t Baking Soda
1t Salt
2 Eggs, beaten
1 ¾ c Buttermilk
1 ½ c Raisins or Currants
1 tbsp Butter, melted

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together all dry ingredients together in large bowl
Stir in raisins
Combine eggs, milk & butter
Add to dry ingredients and stir until flour is moistened
Turn into greased loaf pan
Bake 350⁰ for 1 hour
Remove from pan immediately
