2 cups sugar
1 cup water
1 1/3 cups Georgia pecans (coarsely chopped)
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
In a heavy skillet, combine sugar with water over medium low heat. Gently swirl pan occasionally until sugar is dissolved. Increase heat to medium-high, cover pan and cook 6 minutes. Remove cover and cook without stirring until mixture turns a light golden color. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and flavoring. Quickly pour mixture onto a lightly greased baking sheet; cool. Break brittle into bite-size pieces. Calories per 1-ounce serving: 162.
