1/2 C (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 C semisweet or bittersweet chocolate chips
1/2 C light corn syrup
1/8 tsp salt

Directions:
In a medium saucepan, melt the butter, chocolate, corn syrup, and salt over medium-low heat until just simmering, stirring frequently to create a smooth, thick sauce. Serve hot or at room temperature.

Personal Notes:
The sauce will keep, tightly sealed in a jar, for about a week in the refrigerator. To reheat, place the opened jar in a pot filled almost halfway with simmering water, and heat until warm and pourable.
