6 Milky Way Bars (or 13 bite size bars)
1 cup Butter
2 cups Sugar
4 Eggs
2 ½ cups All-Purpose Flour, sifted
½ tsp. Baking Soda
1 ¼ cup Buttermilk
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1 cup Nuts, chopped (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Melt bars and ½ cup butter in a saucepan over very low heat. Beat remaining ½ cup butter and sugar in medium bowl until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; beat well.

Add flour and baking soda alternately with buttermilk; stir until smooth. Add melted candy, mixing well. Stir in vanilla and nuts.

Pour batter into a greased and floured 10” tube pan. Bake at 350˚F for 1 hour and 20 minutes, or until springs back when lightly touched with fingertips (top will be quite dark).

Cool in pan on wire rack for 10 minutes before removing. Remove from pan; cool completely. Frost, if you wish.
