½ cup Oil
1 cup Sugar
1 Egg
3 cups Flour
1 tsp. Cinnamon
½ tsp. Nutmeg
½ tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Baking Soda
½ cup Milk
½ cup Molasses
¾ cup Raisins
½ cup Nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together oil and sugar until fluffy; add egg. In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and baking soda. In a separate container, mix milk and molasses.

Add flour mixture and milk mixture alternately to egg mixture until well blended. Add raisins and nuts, stir in by hand.

Spread on an edged cookie sheet and bake at 350˚F for 20-25 minutes.

Cool; cut into squares and sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar.
