Personal Notes:
This recipe comes from the strangest cookbook my mother ever owned when I was growing up, called "The Great Northern Cookbook." It had recipes for preparing anything from squirrels, to beaver to moose. It was truly horrifying to small children. Before she tossed it out, she asked if there were any recipes I wanted from it. This was the only one, and it is awesome!
