1/3 c. butter or margarine
1 1/4 c. lightly packed brown sugar
1/3 c. flour
2/3 c. rolled oats
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
6 peeled and sliced apples

Directions:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Grease a 1 1/2 quart baking dish using oil or butter/margarine.. Cream together the butter and sugar in a bowl. Stir in until crumbly a mixture of flour,oats and cinnamon. Arrange the peeled and sliced apples in the prepared casserole. Sprinkle the apples with the crumb mixture. Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes or until apples are tender and topping is golden brown. Serve with ice cream for a treat!

If you don't have oatmeal, you can use just flour - 2/3 c. of flour instead of 1/3 c. flour and 2/3 c. oatmeal. This is an easy and delicious dessert.
