Apples - peeled and cored
1/2 C. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon
Butter

Syrup:
1 cup Sugar
4 T. Butter
2 C. Water
1/2 tsp. Cinnamon

Pie Crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425°.
Peel and core apples. Cut pie crust into squares. Place apple in center of square.
Fill apple center with mixture of sugar & cinnamon. Dot with butter. Bring square together over apple. Place in baking dish.

Syrup:
Combine ingredients. Bring to boil. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour over dumplings.

Bake at 425º for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 375º. Bake for another 30-40 minutes or until apples are tender.
