Filling:
2 c milk, scalded
3 tbsp flour
1 tbsp corn starch
1/2 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 beaten egg yolks
1/2 c coconut
1 tsp vanilla

Crust:
2 c flour
1 tsp salt
2/3 c shortening
5 to 6 tbsp cold water

Filling:
Blend all ingredients. Add part of mixture to 2 beaten egg yolks then return all to pan. Heat and stir till blended and thick. Add coconut, vanilla. Cool and pour in shell.

Crust:
Mix flour salt and shortening with fork until well mixed. Add water until moist.
