2 c sifted flour
1 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking powder
1 c shortening
1 tsp vanilla
1 c sugar
1 c brown sugar
2 eggs
2 c oatmeal
1 c pecans
1 pkg chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, soda, salt, baking powder, and set aside. Cream shortening, gradually add sugar and unbeaten eggs. Beat until light and fluffy. Add flour mixture and blend well. Mix the oatmeal, vanilla, chocolate chips, and pecan. The dough will be thick. Drop by teaspoonful on greased cookie sheet and bake at 350º.
