3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter or margarine, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
2-1/4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 cups chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped, if desired

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375-degrees. Mix sugars, butter, vanilla and egg. Stir in flour, baking soda and salt. Add chocolate chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff.
Drop by rounded Tbsp. about 2-inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on wire rack.
