1 (12 oz can or bottle beer
2 T. unpacked brown sugar
2 T. dry mustard
1 (8 lb ) bone-in smoked ham

preheat-400º Whisk beer, sugar, and mustard together in a bowl. Place ham cut side down in roasting pan. Pour beer mixture over ham. Bake until ham begins to brown about 15 min, basting 4-5 times. Reduce oven temp. to 350º, cover roasting pan with a lid or, and aluminum foil. Continue baking until ham is heated through, about 90 min more.( If you want, basting frequently). I didn't and it turned out nice and juicy. Allow ham to rest 10-15 min before carving. You can trim off the rind and fat before slicing!!
