3 cups flour
2 1/2 cups sugar
1/4 cup oil
4 unbeaten eggs
1 tsp salt
7 tbsp. orange juice
2 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
3 tsp baking powder
2 tsp cinnamon
4 large apples

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream sugar and oil, add eggs one at a time, add orange juice and vanilla extract, add remaining ingredients except apples.

Apples: Mix together four large, peeled, slice apples, cinnamon and 1/4 c. sugar. To keep apples from sinking to bottom of cake, add approximately 1 tbsp of flour to apple mixture.

In greased and floured tub pan, place a layer of batter than a layer of apples. Repeat, end with apples on top. Bake for 1-1 1/2 hours.
