1/2 cup butter
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup maple flavored syrup (we use lite)
1/2 cup heavy cream
1 cup chopped toasted pecans

Directions:
Directions:
To toast pecans: Spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 375º for 5 to 10 minutes until light brown, stirring occasionally.

Sauce: Melt butter; stir in brown sugar & syrup. Bring to boil. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly. Gradually add cream; return to boil. Remove from heat. Stir in pecans.

Freezes well.
