2 Tbsp butter
1 med onion, peel & dice
3 c cooked chicken
12 oz frozen green beans
4 oz pimentos
8 oz water chestnuts, drain & chop
10 3/4 oz cream of celery soup
1 c mayonnaise
6 oz box long grain wild rice, cook according to box instructions
1 c grated sharp cheddar cheese
pinch of salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350*
Heat butter in small skillet over med heat. Saute onion until translucent, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer to large bowl.
Add all remaining ingredients to bowl and mix together until thoroughly combined.
Pour into a greased 3 qt. casserole dish.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until bubbly.
Let stand for a few minutes before serving.
