6 Cups of flour (sifted)
3 Tbsp Sugar
1/2 C. warm milk
3 eggs beaten
1 tsp salt
2 Cakes Yeast
1/2 lb. Butter (margarine)
1 Cup Sour cream or canned milk
*egg yolk on top optional...

Nut mixture
1 lb. ground walnuts
1 Cup Cream
3/4 C. sugar
1/2 lb. honey (8 oz)
1/4 lb. butter
1 Tsp. Vanilla
3 egg whites.

Dissolve yeast in warm milk and sugar, cover, set aside to raise. Combine flour, butter salt,eggs and sour cream. Add yeast and milk mixture. Blend or knead well. Let raise. Divide dough into 6 parts and roll out each part thin as for jelly roll. Spread with nut mixture below. . Roll and place on greased pan and allow to rise for 1 hour or double in bulk. Bake 35 to 40 minutes at 350 degrees. (you can put egg yolk on top before putting in oven. Cake will shine.)

Put all wet things together in saucepan and stir well until it's all mixed and warm. Set aside to cool. Add 3 well beaten egg whites.
