1 whole chicken, cut in eighths
Package of soup greens (onion, carrot, celery, parsnip, leek, parley and dill)
Salt and pepper

Directions:
Put the chicken in a pot with a whole peeled onion. Cover with 3 inches of water Bring to a boil. Skim the foam off. Add 1 tablespoon of salt and a lot of pepper. Add all the vegetables, except the carrot, dill and parsley. Simmer for 1 to 1 1/2 hours. A half hour before its done, add the sliced carrots (2). Five minutes before it's done add the dill and parsley (you can tie them together). Remove the veggies (except carrots) and chicken, chill the soup, then remove the fat layer. You can shred the chicken and add it to the soup.
