4 lb. chili meat (ground chuck)
1 large onion
2 cloves garlic
1 tsp. ground oregano
1 large can chili beans (optional)
1 tsp. cumin
6 tsp. chili powder
2 large cans crushed tomatoes
2 c. hot water
salt to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Put meat, onions, and garlic in large heavy pan. Sear until cooked. Add oregano, cumin, chili powder, tomatoes, and hot water. Bring to a boil, lower heat and simmer for 1 hour. Skim fat as it cooks out.
