2 cups raisins
2 cups water

2 tsp baking soda
2/3 cup lard
2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp cloves
1/2 tsp ginger
1/8 tsp salt
1 cup warm water
3-5 cup flour

Directions:
Directions:
1. Cook raisins and water for 5 minutes. Let cool.
2. Mix baking soda and warm water. Mix the rest of ingredients, except flour, into raisins/water mix.
3. Mix thoroughly. Add flour and mix.
4. Pour into greased 9x13 and bake at 375º for 1 hour.
