Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanut butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1-1/2 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350-degrees. Cream together butter and peanut butter. Beat in sugar and brown sugar. Stir in egg, vanilla, salt, baking soda and flour.
Roll dough in little balls; about the size of a walnut. Place on ungreased baking pan. Using a fork make a criss-cross pattern on top of balls. Sprinkling a little sugar on top of each ball keeps the fork from sticking. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned. Top with a Hersey's kiss before baking, if desired.
