1 cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup sugar
2 eggs
2 ¼ cup flour
1 tsp. soda, salt, vanilla
½ cup nuts
6 oz. chocolate chips

1. Combine all ingredients. Nuts are optional.

2. Bake at 375º for 8-12 minutes.
