1.5 lbs. of fresh green beans
1.5 cups of fresh mushrooms (optional)
1.5 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1.5 cups of milk
4 tsp. dry ranch dressing
1 tsp. pepper
1 - small white onion - chopped
2 tsp. garlic - minced
1 cup bread crumbs

PREHEAT oven to 350ºF

IN a small sauce pan, melt butter and stir in flour. Once blended, add milk slowly and whisk to prevent lumps. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer. Add pepper and ranch mix. Stir until thickened. Set aside

IN a small skillet, cook onions and garlic. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.

COMBINE mushroom mixture, white sauce and green beans in a 1.5 litre casserole dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.

BAKE uncovered for 20-30 minutes - until heated through and beans are tender.
