1 (16oz) bag Coconut Flakes
1 (14oz) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 T. Vanilla
5 T. Flour
Candied Cherries (optional)
Semi-sweet Chocolate, melted (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325º. Mix all ingredients together. Put a half slice of cherry in center if desired. Drop by the spoon onto a well generously greased and floured baking sheet. Bake for 15-20 minutes until slightly browned. Cool macaroons slightly; remove to cooling rack. When cooled dip either the tops or one side of macaroon in chocolate.

These cookies stay soft and chewy for a long time.
