Cake:

1 pkg. Duncan HInes deluxe yellow cake mix
4 eggs
1 c. water
1/2 c. oil
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding

Topping:

1/4 lb. butter
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. whiskey

Directions:
Mix above ingredients for 7 minutes at highest speed. Grease tubular pan. Bake from 40-50 minutes at 350º. Tooth pick test to make sure its done.

Topping: while cake is baking, melt slowly 1/4 lb. butter, 1/2 c. sugar and 1/2 c. whiskey --- keep mixing. After taking cake out, but before it cools, spoon about half the whiskey mixture over the top. Ten minutes later, turn the cake over onto a serving plate, and spoon the remaining liquid on top of the cake.
