1 1/2 ground chuck
2 tbsp chopped garlic
2 tbsp parsley flakes
1 tbsp oregano
4 tbs. sweet basil
1/2 (16) oz loaf of Italian Bread soaked in warm water and squeezed dry
1 c Parmesan cheese
3 eggs

Directions:

Mix all ingredients well in a large bowl. To cook make small round balls about the size of a ping pong ball roll in flour and fry in oil until just brown; then add to your sauce for about 30-45 minutes before sauce is done.
To make the prepatta's for meat into small egg shape balls; roll in flour and fry until done turning to brown each size.

This recipe will make about 20 round meatballs for the sauce and 30-40 without the sauce. My family like the prepatta's without the sauce probably the best.
To freeze you can fry prepatta's for sauce then freeze on a flat cookie sheet. Add to sauce after thawed an simmer about 45-60 minutes.
To freeze prepatta's shape then freeze on a cookie sheet, then store uncooked in an airtight container until ready to use.
