4 cups flour
6 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 cups water
*1/2 cup of lard

Directions:

Variation 1:
Mix all ingredients (*except for lard) together, knead for 2-3 minutes. Pat out ball onto a floured surface and cut out biscuit sized circles (don't make too thick). Melt lard into a frying pan on medium heat and cook both sides of bannock until golden brown.

Variation 2:
Preheat oven to 350º. Mix all ingredients together (*including Lard), follow above directions. Instead of frying bake in oven until golden brown
