1-2/3 c all-purpose flour (Judges 6:19)
1/2 c chopped dates (Song of Solomon 7:7)
1/4 c butter (softened) (Genesis 18:8)
2/3 c honey (Genesis 43:11)
1/3 c milk (Isaiah 7:22)
1 t baking powder (Leviticus 23:17)
1/2 t salt (Ezra 6:9,)
1/2 t ground cinnamon (2 Chronicles 9:9)
1/8 t baking soda (Leviticus 23:17)
1 egg (Deuteronomy 22:6)
Powdered sugar (Isaiah 43:24)

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease & flour square pan, 8x8x2 in.
Beat all ingredients except powdered sugar on low speed 30 seconds, scraping bowl constantly.
Beat on high speed 1 minute, scraping bowl occasionally.
Pour into pan.
Bake 30 to 35 min. or until toothpick inserted in center comes our clean.
Cool 10 min; sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Serve warm or cool.
