1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
4 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup milk
pinch of salt
1 cup coconut
3 cups rolled oats
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine sugar, butter, cocoa, milk and salt in saucepan. Boil rapidly 3 to 4 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Mix until all oats and coconut are well coated. Drop onto waxed paper by tablespoon. Cool.

These are one of Dad's favorites. The recipe came originally from I believe Auntie Fran. They freeze very well.
