Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 16 oz package of potato gnocchi
4 tablespoons butter
1 cup freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
2 freshly minced garlic cloves
Black pepper to taste
1/2 c. reserved pasta cooking water

Directions:
Directions:
Salt a pot of water and bring to a boil. Add the package of gnocchi and cook according to package directions. The pasta should float to the surface of the water within 3-4 minutes and is done at that point. Drain the pasta but save about a 1/2 c. of the pasta water.

In a large pan, melt the butter over medium heat and add the minced garlic. Saute just until garlic begins to cook through and add your drained pasta. Mix so that the pasta is coated in butter then add pepper. Sprinkle Parmesan cheese and mix well then add reserved pasta water a bit at a time until the cheese sauce has reached your desired consistency.
