Ingredients:
Ingredients:
3 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cups chopped onions
1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup chili sauce
1/4 cup wine or cider vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. mustard
1 tbsp. dark molasses
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)
1/4 tsp hot pepper sauce (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Place meat in a heavy, oven-proof pot with lid or use a roaster with lid or tin-foil cover. Bake in preheated oven at 325 degrees for 4 hours (approx. 1 hour per pound of meat) or until meat is fork tender and falls apart.
In the meantime, heat vegetable oil in another pot and sauté onions until tender. Add remaining ingredients and simmer 20 to 30 minutes over low heat. Once meat is cooked, remove from roaster and let cool slightly. chop, shred or pull meat apart. Combine sauce and pulled meat, adding as much sauce as necessary to hold meat together without slopping too much. Heat meat and sauce mixture on the stove, adding more pan juices or water, if necessary, to keep meat moist. Set out a pile of fresh buns, load them up with beef and enjoy!
