Directions:
Beat egg yolks with sugar, stir in sour cream and then brandy. Sift and measure
2 1/2 c flour. Add salt and sift again, then blend thoroughly into egg yolk mixture.
Using the last 1 c flour, turn out on floured board and knead very, very thoroughly until it becomes a satin smooth dough. Roll out on floured dusted board until it's thin (or thinner) than pie crust.
Cut in strips 1 1 /2 inches wide by 4 inches long. cut a gash in center of each strip and pull one end through it. Drop a few at a time into deep hot fat and fry until pale golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper towels and dust with confectioner's sugar. When cool dust again.
