1 lb lean ground beef
1 onion chopped
2 garlic cloves smashed (or 2 Tblsp of minced garlic)
1 (28oz) can tomato sauce
1 (6oz) can of tomato paste
1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
1 tsp basil
12 oz cottage cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
12 oz of uncooked lasagna noodles
16 oz shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:

Brown ground beef and add onion and garlic to pan. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, oregano and basil. Simmer on low for about 30 min.

Mix together cottage cheese, Parmesan and mozzarella.

Spoon a layer of meat sauce on bottom of crock pot. Add a double layer of uncooked lasagna noodles (break to fit) I sprinkle a little water over each layer of noodles then cover noodles with layer of cheese mixture.

Repeat layers until all is used up. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours. Sprinkle top with mozzarella before serving.

**You can also use 2 jars of spaghetti sauce if you want to simplify. You can also make without the meat.
