1/2 c (1stick) butter or margarine
2 eggs
3/4 c firmly packed light brown sugar
1/2 c white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
3 c Quaker Quick cook oatmeal
1 c raisins
1/2 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
In large bowl, beat butter and sugars on medium speed of electric mixer until creamy. Add eggs and vanilla and beat well. Add combined flour baking soda, cinnamon, and salt, mix well. Add oats, raisins and nuts. Mix well. Drop by rounded tbsp onto un-greased cookie sheets. Bake in 350 degree oven 8 - 10 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool 1 minutes on cookie sheets, remove to wire rack. Cool completely. Store in tightly cover container.
