2 medium Acorn Squash (Butternut, Buttercup or Hubbard work too)
1/4 C. packed Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter
4 tsp. Honey or Maple Syrup
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º
Scoop the seeds and stringy pulp out of the squash cavities and discard.
In a small mixing bowl, combine the brown sugar, butter, honey, salt and pepper, to taste.
Rub the squash cavities and cut sides of the squash with the butter mixture and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up. Cover with foil. Bake for 1 hour, until the squash is tender when pierced with a fork. .
