1 30oz Bag of frozen, shredded hash browns
3 14oz Chicken broth
1 10.5oz (small can) Cream of chicken soup
1/2 small onion, chopped
1/4 Tsp black pepper
1 Pkg. Cream Cheese
1/2 Lbs. Bacon

Directions:
Directions:
In a crockpot, combine everything except cream cheese. Cook 6-8 hours on low heat. About an hour before serving, add cream cheese. Continue cooking until cream cheese is melted. Cook bacon and crumble in small bit, creating your very on homemade Bacon Bits.

Serve with crumbled bacon on top.

Don't use fat free cream cheese... 1) what's the point of cream cheese if it's fat free? 2) It doesn't melt as good.

Along with bacon, top with sour cream, cheese, chives... or whatever your heart desires.
