Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 750 ml bottle of wine (usually red, but Riesling makes great Glühwein)
Up to 3/4 c. sugar (to taste - depending on the wine. I usually use less.)
3/4 c. orange juice, optional.
1 orange, optional
4 bags Glüh fix, mulling spices or a cinnamon stick and 10 whole cloves.

Directions:
Directions:
In a saucepan, combine the orange juice (or 3/4 c. water), sugar and spices. If you are using an orange, cut it in half, and if you have cloves, push them into the skin of the orange. Bring to a boil, then simmer until it is thick and syrupy. Pour in the wine, heat until steaming but not simmering. Serve hot in mugs.
