1 C. Oatmeal
1/4 C. Sugar
1 T. Salt
1/2 C. Shortening
3 T. Light Molasses
1 C. Boiling Water
1 C. Warm Water
1 pkg. Dry Yeast
4 to 4-1/2 C. Flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine oatmeal and next 5 ingredients. Mix and cool to lukewarm. In separate bowl mix warm water, yeast and flour. Add to above mixture. Knead until smooth. Let rise 1-1/2 hours. Punch down, let rise 15 minutes. Shape into loaves and put in two greased bread pans. Let rise 20 minutes. Bake at 350º for 35 minutes or until loaves sound hollow when you knock them.
