Directions:
Pour milk in pan to get hot. Mix up cocoa, sugar, egg yolks, and corn starch. Before the milk boils, add a little of this milk to the cocoa mixture. After the milk starts to boil, add the cocoa mixture to it. Stir constantly to keep the mixture from burning. The mixture will thicken. Add extra sugar, if needed, for taste. After mixture thickens, take it off the stove and add 3 drops of Hershey's Chocolate Syrup. Also, add 1/2 T. of unmelted butter and 1/2 tsp. vanilla. Stir mixture until butter is melted. Pour mixture into baked pie shell. Beat the egg whites with 4 T. of sugar to make meringue. Bake pie at 400ºF until the meringue is golden brown.
